It was with these guys, the clam, the squid and the snail, that the fine line between illustrations and diagrams began to blur for me. What happens when a scientific mind and a creative mind have to learn to understand each others languages? Ask the clam at the top here, he saw it all. I beat him eventually though, he'll make sense once he's labelled...
