There aren't many projects I've enjoyed more than this one.
'Follow this route round the East End of London and produce five illustrations based on your exploration and findings.'
OK, I will. In fact I'll produce five illustrations that fit together to make one big one. Commonly known as the Brick Lane project I actually used, as the name suggests, Cheshire Street as the back drop for my drawing thanks to stickers, promo flyers and a large quantity of disposeable cameras (digital's not really my bag, I like to create collages the old-skool way, by hand). I don't think I'd spent such a concentrated amount of time in one place since school.
