I love this guy. There are a multitude of animals mentioned in 'Freddie and the Fairy', of which each competiton entrant had to draw at least two. I chose the frog, the bat and the louse.

- I'm an illustrator in the South of England from the 'by hand' school of thought. I like to cut and paste and love drawing even more than I love fruit and stickers. I strive to be a perfect mix of Tank Girl and Clarice Bean and rank their creators, Jamie Hewlett and Lauren Child, among my most influential sources of inspiration, joint second only to the wonder that is everyday ‘real’ life.
